Ian Max Eyre – Writer, Director, Stunt Coordinator

Ian specializes in writing, directing and stunt coordinating from a left-brained perspective. In fact, a Hollywood writer called his writing “Scooby Doo on Steroids!” His YouTube channel has 26,000+ subscribers with his Doritos contest spec “Be Brave, Daddy!” having 24 million+ views. He’s attached to direct the teen horror PREY FOR MASON and he’s also developing the teen actioner SMASH AND RUN, which was accepted into the Producers Guild of America’s Diversity Workshop. Ian co-wrote and directed the award winning, urban short film “Run Cholo! Run!” which has a feature screenplay attached. He has produced and/or directed several other award-winning short films as well as directed 2nd Unit action on the female empowerment Western VENGEANCE TRAIL, which he also produced, and 2nd Unit photography on the S. African thriller THE SILENT FALL. He also co- produced the martial-arts thriller ACTS OF VIOLENCE starring Leelee Sobieski and Ron Perlman.

Ian’s passion for living life to the fullest leads to imaginative storytelling, having studied screenwriting and directing at the Act One Program. His background in mechanical engineering (Ga Tech), stunts (120+ credits) and mechanical/pyro effects results in a structured, safe approach to action scenes and some inventive camera rigs, including an all-electric camera motorcycle.

Volunteerism: Ian enjoys construction work with Habitat for Humanity (Los Angeles, Atlanta and Haiti) and relief work with Mosaic LA (Ensenada, Mexico and Houston, TX).
